We are all waiting on the first Guinea pig.
I like the factory HID light output and would hate to sacrifice that.

The LS500 has similar headlights now. Eventually I'm sure all newer Lexus models will have similar headlights too down the road.

Whoever asked for the output video, here it is:

A group buy purchase has been made for them and we won't get a hold of them till some time this month. As far as I know, there aren't any physical units out there. That widebody IS above is only a render of the lights, not the actual thing on the car.

Any link to the group buy? I'm down to be a Guinea pig!

Edit: I just bought a set from Vland website. It was 465 USD shipped. I'll post up a review and pics when installed.

I had the ebay vipmotoz ones with a morimoto HID kit but they leaked so I sold them to a local member (with full disclosure of course). Hope these are a good buy and don't leak like the other ones. I'll probably add a bead of RTV or Flex seal to the seams to make them more leak proof. Anyway, stay tuned!

An ISF group on Facebook started it but it's closed now. The lights will be on sale to everyone after we get ours pretty much. Right now you can buy the lights, but you'll have to wait a bit till they complete our order. Like 30 something people ordered them lol

TBH, the output shot is meaningless that close. Needs to be done outside at night.

Right; you can't judge the output when it's that close. After dealing with the DEPO headlights, what I found matter the most is the beam pattern itself, not the brightness. Almost any headlight with a standard bulb will have enough brightness, but the projectors could be so bad that it create these weird patterns with spots of light and darkness that are very distracting.

This is an awesome design IMO. Hoping to learn more about these as the thread goes on. I'm subscribed. hopefully these are compatible with factory HID

Well that's the only output video there is. You'll have to wait until we get them to actually find out.

They're PnP so they should work just fine. Just won't have AFS anymore

still wondering why they went with HID for the high beam and not LED like the lower beams?
People typically use high beams just to flash at others so having HID is pointless at they need to warm up.

and i guess for the few that have AFS like me, we will have a light on all the time!
