My blower does not operate at all, Ive replaced the blower motor and checked the fuses. Not sure what to check next. Where is the blower resistor located - does anyone have pics of the specific location?
When I bought my GS400 years ago. It came with the blower on high speed. The Resistor was bad, and the previous owner spliced the ground to body on the blower motor side. It worked for the time being until I actually bought the resistor module. Though on the ISX50 I don't see it in the diagrams.
You can try to see if you see it by the firewall components. I'm not sure if it looks similar or what not.
The only thing I see on the disgrams is the AC amplifier module. Im not sure if it's the actual resistor integrated in it.
Here's what it looks like on the old 2GS Lexus.
You can check if it has one as shown in the video. It might be in the same area if indeed the ISX50 has it.
Been checking on the https://parts.lexusoflincoln.com for a Control Blower Motor for a 2008 Lexus IS 250 2.5L AT but cant find anything that looks similar. I know it has to have a resistor or a control unit that provides power to the blower motor. Again I replaced the blower motor, but it still will not turn on. All the other controls work and I can hear the compressor clicking, but the blower will not spin. I called the Lexus parts guy and of course they want you to bring it in for $159 just to pop the hood.
