Opinion on insurance settlement
I am dealing with the adjuster on the final settlement. The other driver t-boned my 08 IS and caused over 7K in damages. They came by and was very close to what I was looking for. They left off the upgraded 18in wheels and HID lights. They also had XM but the car did not have them. So after telling them that the updated offer was lower. The adjust was saying those two items do not add additional value to the car. The car also had the CSP carbon rebuild done to it but I guess that also does not add value. Am I stuck with that offer?

Complain ask for “dealer ready”. Be ready to show that’s the case. Be sure they count tint and any parts you’ve upgraded in the past year....
alternativly, if you can run it through your insurance, you are allowed to get an external appraisal. It costs $500 ish and they use the top of the blue book rather than CCC.
