2008 Lexus ISF - No Sound From Radio
Hi guy's & girls!
I've been a longtime lurker on these forums, got great help & knowledge from a lot of you. This time I come back with a problem i'm truly stumped on. A little background on my vehicle, It's a 2008 Lexus ISF, with navigation & Mark Levinson package.
Problem: Like title describes, The famous no sound from radio/cd/aux etc. Touch screen is operable, but on the audio screen the treble & bass & balance are all stuck.
I've read through the various threads & forums regarding this issue. So far I've tried the following:

I've read through the various threads & forums regarding this issue. So far I've tried the following:
- Checked & Inspected all fuses - Engine Bay / Drivers Foot Well / Passenger Foot Well. All fuses look good.
- The famous ML amp failure I've read so much about. I didn't have another ISF ML amp to test with, however I had a fully functional 06 IS350 ML Amp all plugs were the same plugged right up. Only difference I could spot was the different part #. That did not work, same problem no sound!
- I now took the ISF ML amp and fit it into the IS350, what do you know it works instantly no problem at all!

Did you try to plug back the IS-F amp back in?
Was it raining previously? I had the same problem. Took the amp out and it was damp. Took a blow-dryer and now plugged it back in and it worked . If yours was damp in any way and now it's dry, maybe that's why it works now on the 350.
Otherwise seems like a wiring issue then if a replacement amp didn't work and all the fuses are intact.

SOLUTION!!!!
i had the exact same problem on my 350 and this is what I did....
1. Remove plastic trays from both sides of trunk
2. Remove amplifier from tray and dry/blow out area with compressed air.
3. There is a flap in the fender (can’t think of exact name) that allows air to escape when doors shut. You should be able to see/feel it. You need to remove this flap.
4. Remove it by pushing it outward and you should be able to see if looking up into the wheel well.
5. Once removed this entire plastic shroud needs covered and blocked. I used plastic window covering then gorilla taped it like crazy.
6. Reinstall flap and repeat for other side. Passenger side must be 100% sealed. Driver’s side isn’t as important.
7. Before reconnecting electronics ENSURE EVERYTHING IS DRY AND DEBRI REMOVED.
8. Connect everything and voilá problem solved.
This is worked for me after Lexus spent over $7k (4 amps, entire new wiring harness, entire new audio system) trying to fix this and I did this flap repair myself and it fixed everything immediately.
