Default 06 Is220d Radio losing signal.

I was wondering why my radio loses signal when there is even the smallest obstacle on the side of the road.
I have pulled the radio unit off and checked and cleaned the antenna cable connectors. Didn't do anything.
It has the normal radio (not Mark Levinson).
Is the problem my tinted back glass as the local dealer said or does this model have some kinda common problem with radio losing signal?

And sorry for my bad english it ain't my first language.

If you have metallic tint it will affect the reception. Seach Google for metallic tint, and radio reception. You'll find many people on forums with the issue.

I checked my tint info sheet.
It's suntek carbon tint, and i checked sunteks page, and there it said the tint doesn't interfere with radio or gps signals.

So should i start seeking any broken antenna wires or?

Yes make sure theres no breaks in the antenna trace. Other thst that I'm clueless. Unless a faulty antenna amplifier inline somewhere.

Check out 86300B on the diagram. Amplifier/Antenna it could be faulty on your vehicle.
