Hello, i am looking to buy a used lexus and after researching i came upon a 2006 lexus is250 manual rwd with 200k miles. after messaging the seller he tells me about all of the work that he did to that car. EX. suspsension work, new brakes, new engine at 150k done by lexus. I am also looking to buy this car and install winter tires for midwest winters. he has put it on sale for 5899, is this a good buy? looking to drive it until the wheels fall off.

I'd say with the non-original engine that it's not worth as much as much any other IS250 WITH the factory engine. However, having this secondary engine is probably in your favor as it's got few miles on it I'm sure. While test driving, make sure to listen closely to the trans for any odd noises.
Did they replace the clutch / PP during the engine replacement? If so, that might be worth the asking price.
