Most likely the connector wasn't plugged into the rear wheel speed sensor on the replaced hub, or it was damaged. Less likely the hub/sensor assembly is defective and/or coincidentally something else went wrong at exactly the same time.

Check your connector to make sure it's fully engaged and that it's not damaged (on the harness or on the sensor).

Take it back!
VSC could be the tone ring out of position or the rear abs sensor out of position. The PS being disabled, that is something else all by itself.
Any evidence they jump started it? Any recent battery or charging issues?

@Bichon bichon not a build thread.....

The power steering uses the speed signal coming from the ABS ECU, without a speed signal, power steering is disabled, so it's probably related.

You would *think* if three of the wheels or even 1 wheel and the Transmission Turbine and Output shaft are turning one would have power steering. Heck, even if parked in the driveway and wanted to think about turning the wheel with assist, it would be available.

Let's see what happens.

FWIW it seems rear hub replacement ends up moving the tone ring just enough to cause issues.

Just curious, what hubs did you replace it with?

Got it.
Adding to what others suggested.
Im sure you re-checked connectors already.

Just wondering if the NAPA bearing had the magnetic coil in the bearing race. (Hub bearing)
This is where the speed sensor picks up the signal.
And if it did have that, maybe its loosing signal along the way or getting a weak signal as you drive longer.
Or not seated right.
What were your codes by the way before you erased them?

Did this all happen after the bearing swap?
If it did, I'd take FSport's suggestion and take it back to the installer.

^^^^
I though you said you had codes cleared?
If there is a warning light ON, there will be a code(s) stored.
Whether be it Current/Pending.

Does the Scanner able to read all of the vehicles ECU?
