Default Tighten your coin tray!

Hey guys,
So when I got the car back in 2011, while trying to get into the car in a rush, I banged my left knee into the panel that has the coin tray to the left of the steering wheel. I’ll attach a photo. The panel rattled like crazy when driving, especially on a road that’s not perfectly smooth. Took car to the dealership under warranty twice and each time they put some “hard foam padding” behind the panel to prevent it from vibrating/rattling. The second time it worked for a while, but now the rattle/vibration in the panel is back. It’s pretty annoying in an otherwise very quiet interior. When I grab the panel and try to move it, I can tell it’s slightly loose. It also rattles worse in warmer weather (guess it loosens up even more). Anyone has had this rattle? Is there anyway to tighten the panel? Any ideas, even the use of adhesives etc.

Appreciate your help!

That entire knee panel is actually only held on by pressure clips. It's kind of weird they don't use bolts. Anyway, maybe pull it off (you'll have to take the side panel between the dashboard and door off first), then add some doublesided foam tape, or adhesive backed felt tape on all contact points.
