I have a 2006 IS350 with about 156k on the odometer. I am having a problem that seems to be reoccurring and I can’t seem to figure out if it’s an isolated problem with one of the stated components or just a collecting problem of all 3. I installed swift springs about 4 years/80k miles ago, installed new pads and had all rotors turned about 6 months ago, and new tires with an alignment about 3 months ago. The problem I seem to be having is that it feels as if the car has a judder that is present when driving and not that noticeable but becomes significantly worse when braking. When brakes/rotors were done the condition improved but didn’t go away. The tech also told me he had to turn all the rotors twice and they can’t be turned again, but would have to be replaced next time on all four corners as they are originals as well. When I had new tires installed and an alignment done the shop told me the rims had a few minor bends but the balanced perfectly and got everything aligned and conditioned went away for the most part. I haven’t had the suspension looked at but the struts are original. I’m just curious as to if anybody has experienced this or if anybody has insight on what I should do to try to alleviate this issue without either shooting in the dark or replacing everything at the same time.
Thanks in advance!!!!!

If your feel the judder through the steering wheel. It's either the caliper pistons not releasing, bent slide pins, .... When you changed the pads for the fronts did you notice any wierd uneven brake pads? Since you say you feel it more when braking I'd definitely say piston not retracting. Let's see what other people have to say.

I wouldn’t say I feel it through the steering wheel that much more than feeling it through the body of the car. Brakes were replaced by a buddy who is a master tech for Toyota and he said nothing look or felt strange when he did the work. He advised doing struts first since the 13 years old and have over 155k mines on them.

I suspect your lower control arm bushings are probably shot. they are too soft from the factory, and gets worse at higher mileage!

bent wheels can also cause unwanted vibrations, and also blown shocks!
