Default I知 curious to know more about my 2007 is250 !!!

Hello good afternoon, I would like to know how lock my car doors while having the engine running... I read the driver痴 manual and there was no information about what I wanted to do. So, for the past months I have been trying to figure out how to and I came across a youtuber who had the same experience as I do, perhaps he was a bit clever to use a simple trick to close his acura rdx. What he did, was to roll his driver window down from inside, exit his vehicle while having the engine running, manually shuts his door and winds his window up from outside by put in his hsnds through the door window frame. Well I tried that the other and I ended up being later for work in the snow because my car denied me access, whew thank goodness it was snowing really bad... Can someone please help me resolve this issue? Thanks in advance 🙏🏼

I assume this is to keep the heater going while you run to the store?

to get back in, if the key fob does not work, use the physical key hidden within the key fob!
you have to use your finger nail to hit the release and the part that has the loop to attach to a ring comes out with a physical key.
