In a number of forums recently, I have seen a lot of interest pertaining to Lexus IS Dash replacement options so I thought I would relay my knowledge of those options.
Below are the options I am aware of for Lexus IS250/350 Dash Replacements Circa ~2006 to 2013. Some of the companies below have options for earlier and later models.

I may try to either cross post or also post is in the Lexus Car Audio sub forum on this site, depending on where it is most appropriate. Since this is IS specific , I put it here.


GROM Audio VLINE units for Factory Navigation Lexus Models
(Option 1 (called VLine2) turns Factory dash into an Android Dash, Option 2 screen mirrors)
[Uses Factory Navigation Dash but converts the underlying system to Android by installing a new computer system]

Comments: Looks like a nice option if you want the original dash and have a Factory navigation. I believe this is not an Apple Carplay or an Android auto unit, but a separate Android instance with apps you can install. However, I am told that the vline2 may soon have support for Android Auto, but I have not confirmed that as I did not see it on their site.

Comments: This is the nicest looking dash replacement I have seen. Update : There are now CarPlay dongles (wired and wireless!!) available for this unit. My original post said there was no CarPlay support which was true at the time. Had these dongles existed when I bought the Scosche dash and ILX-107 unit I would have probably gone with this option instead . Also I am told there is a new version (the PX6) that addresses some responsiveness issues the prior version had.

(Separate Parts depending on whether or not you have the Factory Navigation or Non Navigation Option)
[For Non Nav option, The CD player is removed and the space from the CD player down is where the double din screen will sit.]

Did you happen to find a tutorial video on how to install the Scosche setup? I just ordered this and am having trouble finding a good video showing me how to install it? I’m installing this in my 2007 IS250. And also, what size headunit will this fit?
