Went to start my 2097 is220d this morning, initially it turned over 3 times before the dash came on but did not start.

it now will not turn over.

battery is fine, also tried jumping it just incase and nothing, press the start button all checks complete it goes as if it is trying to start but doesnt actually turn the motor over.

the car was low on diesel but i presume this wouldnt stop it turning over?

anybody had this before? I tried an obd2 reader but it didnt show any codes.

please help?
