Default Simple Modifications

I have a 2007 Lexus IS 250, manual transmission. Everything on it is stock. I知 looking to do a few performance improvements, just simple modifications. I知 a 56 year old man, I知 not looking to make it loud, just want to improve my daily ride, any suggestions?

I find Swift springs quite comfortable for daily driving as far as ride quality goes. Their springs use less coils (linear vs. progressive) so the actual springs are lighter, softer and more comfortable.
Swift springs do not sag over time like other brands springs. In my opinion they are worth every penny, great improvement over choppy stock springs I had and they can be used with stock shocks.

A simple mod for a simple guy that would greatly enhance driving pleasure would be a set of upgraded front and rear sway bars (or just the rear sway bar if you can find them sold individually). The OEM F-Sport brand is the most popular but you can also find other aftermarket brands that will perform just as well (FIGS, Sikky, etc.)

LCA Bushings, Front and Rear sway, Swift spring on stock shocks are pretty compliant, responsive but still not overly harsh.

front and rear sway bars will make it handles more flat and f sport rear chassis brace tighten up the rear if you can still find the chassis brace for sale..

Let's not forget the steering ECU. Simply put it will increase feedback and make for a significantly improved driving experience. Even the 2011 up F-Sport ECU coupled with RC-350 LCA and an ISF rear sway bar and your car will be transformed!

Although these mods offer no bling, you will know it when you drive it! Start there and decide what to do next.

Did you upgrade your ECU? I know the 11+ Fsport ECUs are a small upgrade from the 06-10, but wasn't sure how it was compared to the 11+ ISF's
