Powerwash Under Engine Cover?
I pulled off the engine cover and the engine is filthy dirty. I want to powerwash it but I see many wires/harnesses/sensors--I dont want to ruin or damage something.
Has anyone powerwashed the engine??

I have.
I just taped all the wires and covered everything else with plastic bags and sealed them with tape.
I let it dry for 30min. and drove around easily for 10min. and everything is fine.

Just don't use chemicals. If forced into electrical connectors, even the moisture resistant ones, it can lead to oxidation and trouble down the road.
I used to garden hose other vehicles with hot water from the h20 heater and that works great. For the most part don't aim at seals, connectors, electronics, etc. And don't spray a hot engine with cold water.
Last little bit, a 10min drive won't dry much so open the hood a direct a fan at it if possible.

You can but not recommended. We prob all have done this in auto shop back in the days, but a simple brush will do wonders. If you decide to, wrap it up and use a air nozzle and or leaf blower to get the water out.
