As I know it, our car has no pressure sensor just go/no-go switch for low oil pressure. I plugged these into the fusion app but none of them report data so that was a bust.

That said when I bought my car two years ago the stealership put some crappy oil in it. I dumped it and picked up like 20hp as the VVTi system came back to life. So not all oils are the same.

What are your ambient temps? Are you sure its not just the ignition being pulled back? Maybe something got changed in your flash and you should try an earlier one?

Question; when you're logging MAF m/s2, do you get your highest readings in say 3rd gear?

My platform is stock w/tune but it seems like it bangs through the gears so quick that the peaks from the 1 -> 2, and 2 -> 3 are lower than the 3 -> 4 peak MAF.
1) 228 - 231
2) 231 - 235
3) 235 - 238

Off the rev limiter its seen 242.
This with a kclv of 23 to 25.5... that said everything is air temperature dependent tho I didn't have fusion app installed when ambient air was in the triple digits.

Possibly productive update
I had noticed that my fuel trims weren't as good as earlier this summer. Instead of being ~5%, fuel trims reading 5-10% while driving around, and at idle they would be crazy high like 30+% on both sides. Last month I was looking at my intake and I think my rigged maf housing / velocity stack adapter might have been the cause of my problems. It appears that there is a step eroding away at the putty that I used for the transition from the velocity stack into the maf housing which might have caused turbulence that changed how the maf read, or maybe completely disrupted flow resulting in poor airflow. I reacquired an OEM air box and tried it out. My idle fuel trims dropped into the 20s, which is still high but an improvement, and my fuel trims while driving around are almost always between 0 and +5% which I will take as an improvement. Most noticeably are my peak maf values, which now read ~250g/s again. I still have a problem to resolve as it appears that the throttle slowly cuts with RPM for some reason. I am thinking about swapping ECU and or my throttle body in the near future to see if it still acts up.

Uhm, secrete mods flushed out? Ruuuh Roooh! Glad it wasn't ingested. What was the product and how long did it live in the ah - jet stream?

Glad you found the source! Was the surface not rough enough or did the petroleum products take their toll on them?

And what of that 7,350. Is your limit higher or was that a massive over-rev/fuel cut?

No secrets here, I shared what I did in the performance section years back. It was some epoxy putty stick I picked up from Lowe's or Home Depot. I used it for a transition inside a spare 3.5" maf housing from my mustang that I was converting for use in the Lexus. I've had it in the car for probably a few years by now, it looks like it might have just eroded away over time, certainly onto and through the engine. I'm not worried though, it doesn't look like chunks are missing, there's just a strange step right after the aluminum velocity stack ends. I will certainly redo this better as it was something like a 10 g/sec improvement over the OEM airbox.

Since you asked, my rpm limit is 7400rpm, I try to shift at 7200 and that higher limit keeps me off the limiter.

Speaking of R/L.... there was a FS add Gville linked in showing some 2GR-FSE's with 6x individual TB's with stacks. Some bored and stroked to 4.0. They had forged rods and pistons. Said they were twisting them to 8500RPM!!! Something like 580BHP N/A.

That said, we need to do some porting and get a proper intake on these! lol

I posted in the IS-F section to see if someone would measure across their head ports but no takers. Was curious if we could steal their manifold and lob off the end. Things I won't be doing until I have a spare ride.
