Default Should i buy a is350 RWD or AWD?

Moving to either Ohio or New York City for school next year so wondering if i should buy an AWD for winter conditions or RWD with Snow Tires. Idk the conditions out there in winter so if anyone lives in those places if you could let me know? I wont be driving the car that much off campus anyways.

U should be fine with all seasons and rwd just turn on snow mode and ull be fine. If moving to northern Ohio or near lake effect snow then get awd to be safe

An rwd IS350 isn't fun to drive in winter, even with snow tires. The car has a spring loaded open differential so it doesn't take much to get stuck. Get whatever you want, just know that it might be tricky.

RWD is fine even without snow tires (you need at lease decent brand all seasons WITH thread on the tire).
The key here is using self control when driving and avoiding deep snow (main roads are always be plowed where I live). You have to be easy on the gas pedal, easy on the brake pedal and slow into turns when theres snow (you gotta drive slow). I've been driving rwd cars in Chicago past 5 years no issues. I use to always own AWD cars and think I need AWD but really you dont.
Either way you shouldn't be driving fast in snow so consider that when deciding

I'm in a '21 IS300 AWD F-Sport and use a square setup of DAI Autobahn wheels in 18x8 +45 with 235/45/18 Falken Winterpeak F-ICE 1 tires. Perfect fitment front and rear for both 300 & 350.
