My gps touch screen stopped working on my 07 is250. I think my bass rattled the solders loose lol . But I ordered this $8 digitizer. If it doesn't work I'll do the temporary contact pen fix and order a proper part. Anyone have any experience with this panel?

The wire is coming out the middle but the description says don't worry about it. We'll see what happens should be here in a few days(shipped with DHL from China)

I had the same problem where the screen became non-responsive. I had thought about using the trace pen but decided against it. I purchased the LCD and touchscreen assembly for 275.00 because i didn't want to put in just the digitizer and find out the the LCD was the problem. The only difficult part was removing the head unit out without damaging the soft dash material around the head unit. Pry carefully.

Yes my biggest concern is messing up the dash. Mines about perfect but in the sun a few little spots do get sticky. And my door panel I hit with one of my rings and it cut it. Do I know it's fragile gonna do it really careful

Just a update. $8 digitizer worker perfect and no rainbow effect or anything weird. Shipping took 4-5 buisness days. very happy I gave it a try
