2007 Lexus is250 AWD Engine Swap
Hello guys, new to the forum just purchased a lexus with a seized engine, im in the process of swapping the motor, i have done many honda, acura, and VW motors, but have never done a straight 6 style motor where the tranny is bolted to the back. what is the best way to take these motors out without a car lift? i do have an engine hoise/cherry picker, umm some say to take out together with the transmission? is it best to remove rad support radiator etc and pull it straight out the front end? i dont see how there would be enough clearance to remove it from the top with the transmission still attached? any help would be appreciated it, thank you
any DIY?
steps on the procedure to get everything done properly.

What exactly do you have? The 250 2IS is 4GR-FSE 2.5 lt V6. Most take the front off the car and pick it, unbolt the trans and headers and all the other attachments. Tho one could lower the cradle with the engine and trans attached and/or lift the body off the cradle. Not so easy at home.
