Any tips/tricks to getting the cluster apart? Is it a bake and break deal, or does it come apart with fasteners?

First tip would be to take your time. Literally the hardest and most nerve-wracking part is removing the needles. I used a plastic trim pry tool but would recommend using one on each side of the needle base. I never heated my cluster at all either. Some screws hold in the black rear Toyota cover guarding the motherboard. Then just one push tab on top near the right blinker bulb holds the whole bezel and lens to the cluster face. Then once you pull off the needles and odometer bezel with foam you'll be left with just the gauge face. There is no glue holding it on just little ***** that it slides over for alignment. Just pop it off that and you'll see what my 4th picture shows those clear circle lens things. Those just pop off and you'll see the LED bulbs as my pics show.

One thing I'd recommend is if you're thinking of swapping needles or anything is to practice on a junk ebay cluster or donor cluster. I'll be honest I would NEVER do what I did on my pics to my own cluster inside my car. The cluster I am doing it on is my old cluster that I accidentally burned the speedo's gauge face with rubbing alcohol trying to get a spot off of it.

Just be careful and take your time. Let me know if you need anymore tips. I have especially became a pro on removing our IS clusters (as I have done it so much now). Good luck bud.
