Boslla Bullet 4-Color Bulbs Question
Hey Guys,
I have a 2011 Lexus IS250. It has D4S HID bulbs from factory but i wanted to install the new Boslla bulbs everyone's been talking about. Problem is I don't see a D4S size available. Is there any way I could still retrofit them to my IS? Are there adapter pieces or anything out there? Any help would be appreciated.

I wish I could help you for sure, I dont have HIDs so I cant say definitively, but I dont believe the HID system is compatible with LED bulbs. HID require Xenon instead of the traditional Halogen bulbs which draws a different amount of current and produce more heat. I could be wrong, but I dont think you will find any LED bulbs for the factory HID headlights.
Just and FYI, I had the non-HID headlights in my 2is but replaced them with the Vland set up. The Vland have the LED build into the housing so I installed some Bosllas in my fog light, I am very happy with the results.

Oh wow that's a cool idea! I would have never even thought of putting them as my fog lights! I'm def. going to look into that now
I've been back and fourth about Vlands as well. I want to buy the newer "jewel eye/ Triple beam LED" design ones but I keep seeing members on Facebook groups have issues from the seals failing and letting in water to the entire housing failing completely so idk.
But thank you! I guess I'll just order normal HID bulbs again

I don't think you can convert from D4S to H7/etc. I think factory HID would be better than any aftermarket replacement LED bulbs out there anyways. Are the Boslla bulbs that great? Seems a little gimmicky with the different modes and the light output doesn't seem too impressive. On the side, I'll link Marty Motoring's video just in case anyone else wanted more info on them

@Aspect The Boslla LED are brighter than my stock fog lights, and at 6500K they match the color of the LEDs in my Vland Headlights.
With them in the fog lights, if you did stay with the stock headlights, and you wanted to keep the fog lights the stock white color (4300K) to match, you can change them to do so.
What I like most about them is how I can take them down to the 3000k yellow color and and give the car the look of custom fog lights. You still get the same lumens will all three temperature colors, but at 3000k you get less glare off the snow/rain, and it cuts through the fog better than 6500k temp. At least that is what the science and theories say. Fog is a big deal in the winter month where I live so I am anxious to see how it work IRL.
