Buying a 2IS350. Live in Vancouver, Canada.
Winter driving experience:
-10 winters of prairie driving in RWD pickup
-6 winters of short & long haul rig driving (manual tranny) in bush/ice roads/mountain/highway spanning BC and Alberta, requiring Jeep & Booster
Now, obviously, some of the above does not transfer to city driving on the west coast. I'm confident in my abilities on wet snow without FWD or AWD, but I'm wondering if anyone else is rockin' an IS350 in the Pacific Northwest.
If so, how are you fairing in winter?
Premium snow tires with great tread are a given. Already have them lined up.
TIA

I live in Vancouver, BC also with a 2IS350 and RWD.
I (and the car) handle just fine.
Dunno the reason to get all dramatic about it.
Ppl have been driving RWD cars for decades in the winter with no ill effects.
Oh and btw, I also run all seasons, year round.
(I know, I'm a total rebel!)

I daily drive is350 rwd with michelin pilot sport a/s. No issue in vancouver’s winter on the plowed roads since the tires still have decent amount of tread left, but I am considering getting a set of snow tires before this winter. Its hard to predict the snow condition these few years in vancouver.... I just want to be safe and keep my roadstar.... (auto insurance is pretty expensive even after43% discount.
