Default P0504 after brake switch replacement.

Hey guys hoping you can help before I sell the car as is/for parts.

I got the car and it wouldn't start. I ran diagnostics and got 3 codes (P0504, P2118 and P0705)
I checked the fuses in the engine bay and cabin.
That took care of P2118 and P0705 but P0504 is still there.
So I replaced the brake light switch.
Code keeps coming up.

Here's whats going on with the car when I try to start it.
When I open the door the car makes the sound that the door is open.
I push the brake, the light on the start button doesn't come on.
I push the button, it turns orange.
I push it again, the lights on the dash come on, the engine makes a sound (I think fuel injectors) but does not attempt to start and the display tells me what doors are open and to check system.
When I hit the brake my brake lights don't turn on but my blinkers work.

I know there are more fuses in the trunk but I cant use the key to get in, the button on the dashboard isn't working (not sure why not) and I cant reach the escape release in the trunk from inside the car.
Is there a way to take out the seats or fold them down from inside?

Any help would be appreciated seeing as I need the car to get to work and Lyft is getting expensive.

You can't remove the seats. In the glove box there's a little button to lock and unlock the trunk. If it's locked the trunk won't open from inside or with the button. Try and see if you can get in the trunk like that

The button didn't work for me but I was able to get it open with the escape release.

Where are the fuses?
Am I looking for any one in particular?

Fixed it.
There was a small break in the main bus bar fuse.

The main bus bar fuse usually fails if the car has been 'jump' or 'boost' started with a battery pack or another car And the polarity of the cables gets crossed and then the battery/car is connected up with reverse polarity!

Could this have been the case by you or previous owner?
