Default Steering wheel controls swap - non-nav to nav

Hi all,

This following sentence is somewhat irrelevant, but just some background info: I currently have an aftermarket head-unit installed which has the ability to have your steering wheel controls programmed to some function (vol-up, vol-down, next, prev, voice, call, hang-up, and several other things),

Wondering whether anyone has successfully swapped their steering wheel controls from one with the non-nav controls (no hands-free, hangup, call btn, - full sized disp. button), to the nav steering wheel controls (half sized disp. button, hands-free, call & hangup).

Non-nav (current steering wheel interface)

Nav (desired steering wheel interface)

Do all of the connections match-up, or does the non-nav model have a different harness? And/Or what else did you have to do to get it to work?
Any info would be appreciated.
