Default Cigarette Lighter No Bueno Anymore

So after a long drive today, noticed that the base for the cigarette lighter had gone out (the one below the center control stack), as it wasn't charging my GPS unit. To make sure it wasnt just the GPS cable, I checked other chargers and things to no avail. It was working just fine about two days ago, so I'm guessing the part was near the end of its life anyway.

Not sure if this could've affected it, but my mom put a pen inside the lighter, so not sure if maybe that created some kind of short? Unless those chargers don'r get affected by things like that being put in it briefly.

Regardless, is there a fuse i should check? Or will i more than likely have to replace the part? If so, where to even begin looking.

Thanks!!

There is a fuse for the lighter. It is in the fuse panel under the dash on the left side by the door. It is a 15 amp fuse, in position # 63 or 64. Click on the link below for pictures

I noticed this is for the RX, would the diagram also work for an IS?

There is also a fuse box under the dash on the driver's side for the IS. Just open it and it has a diagram on the cover. It should say CIG for the cigarette lighter on there.

ooops! brain fart. Grabbed the wrong link. Here is the link for the IS -

https://fuse-box.info/lexus/lexus-is...006-2013-fuses

look at fuse # 63, maybe 64 Look in the fuse box on the passenger side, fuse #10 for the outlet by the shift lever and fuse #11 for the outlet in the armrest.
