Default Aftermarket parking sensors on factory harness

Hey guys, my rear bumper got ripped off (don't ask how) and basically tore the sensors right off with them, however everything else is perfectly in tact. Would I be able to purchase an aftermarket sensor and stick into the socket shown below and have it work just like the standard OEM sensor? Or do they need to be from Lexus?
Here is the aftermarket part:

and here is the socket which attaches to the sensor which plugs into the bumper:

While I have seen a couple of posts regarding these sensors, I'm not entirely sure if they would work since the software might have to be programmed? I know some other models had a button you needed to press in order to activate the sensors.
You can find these connectors in the front as well tucked away near the fog lights, if you look close enough you might even see the little parking sensor light on your dash.

EDIT:

I found the one thread that helps you do it DIY, seems pretty detailed enough but I heard that they are almost useless when parking in tight spaces due to their placement and such, cheers!
