Exclamation please help!! car wont start

any advice is greatly apprecieated. i have a 2006 lexus is250 awd with 130k miles. a month ago after i got back from vacation i tried starting my car and it wouldnt start.
after trying for 10 mins i finally got it stared while pressing the gas, i reved it to about 3k rpms and as soon as i take my foot off the gas it bogs down and dies. the first time i got it started it did have a back fire not sure what that could mean. its done this same thing twice after trying multiple times to get it started. battery is charged. tested fuel pressure with a gauge and its good. has spark. took it to a bad shop where i got ripped off for a diagnoses all they did was do a "compression check"on 3 of the easy to get to cylinders and tried making buy a new $6k engine.but i got it started again after the shop and it ran for about 3 seconds while i had my foot on the gas and it died as soon as i took it off as usual. but when it was running it sounded normal and not like its running on half the engine. it hasnt thrown any codes to the computer. not sure where to go next any help is appreciated thanks

If your fuel pressure is fine then it may be your spark plugs, if not then leads (which I doubt, since it's running fine under load)

The back fire was most likely a misfire.
