2is Amp dead again any options?
Hey everyone,
My original amp died, had a used replacement one working for about 6 months, it too just kicked the bucket.
I understand this is caused by moisture getting into the amp. Is there anything I can do to protect the amp from moisture?
I thought about opening up the amp and just coating the boards with dielectric grease, not sure if that's a viable option.
The DIY aftermarket amp solution seems overly complicated (overpriced to get the work done) for one such as myself that doesn't have experience with such things.
Thanks in advance.

Replace those vents in your trunk, I imagine yours probably look like the OP's in this post (part numbers are included there): https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...amps-fail.html

My amp went out when it rained heavily. I saw someone post about wrapping it in a small towel. I did it and my amp has been fine through heavy rain. Sounds silly but it worked.
Or you can replace the vents. Probably the right way to do it.
