Hello,
Does anyone have experience on converting Halogen bulbs to LED on Lexus IS 250 (year 2008)? How will the headlight projector cast the light? Did you have problems with blinding oncoming traffic? I have really dim halogens and would like to have something brighter. I was planning to get the brightest halogen bulbs but somebody suggested that I'd just do the conversion. Apparently the projector should not f*** up the light pattern. I still have doubts on that. Basically I need someone to tell me that it is not worth it and give me suggestion on the brightest halogens that are available.
I should mention that I live in Europe.
I'm thanking you guys in advance.

I replaced the Halogens with HIDs. You need to fit the wiring and module in to the headlight housing (which is not difficult) but other than that - Works like a charm!
Not sure if I'm blinding anyone but I can see great. It's been about a year.
I believe I tried to use LED bulbs on the fog lights. And they ended up flickering and not working properly, so I went back to a standard bulb with as high an output as possible, and yellow.
Hope that helps!

I would say it will depend on the brand and style. Too large, and you won't be able to close the lid. Another is the actual lumens output also. Most LED are not there yet. I'd get a good brand HID kit.
Also where it really makes a difference is to properly aim the headlights.

Thanks guys for the replys,
I guess I'm going to try out the HID's. I'm just worried about blinding others but adjusting and aiming should solve this.

I tried to find the product that I bought. It was through the local classified ads and I can't seem to find it.
I didn't actually buy a kit built for our cars - it was a generic H11 HID kit for any car. I think the ad may have been for Audi's.
