I did the swap and I believe it's a perfect swap if you want to gain decent power.Mine is supercharged and all I can say is that the 4GR had power after 5000 RPM to 7000 and now the 3GR has at 3000 to 7000RPM.The ECU has no promblem handling the extra power(not in my case).It needs more gas for sure!
