Default Spare Tire Replacement Kit - Weight Reduction for those with BBK

Installed the F-sport BBK kit and the spare tire is useless as it will no longer fit over the brakes. Lexus has replacement kit for the spare tire area to hold a compressor and the repair kit. I originally thought the spare tire repair kit included the compressor and tools but it did not. The foam piece replaces the spare tire and associated foam in that storage area. Lot's of padding to make sure there are no squeaks and looks like it removes about 30lbs. of weight.

Has anyone installed all the components of this kit? I want to make sure I have everything.

By how many times it has saved me from being stranded. I keep the spare in trunk regardless. I wish I could shed some weight though.

spare should fit over the BBK, its designed to clear the 350 calipers and those are wide.
Backup plan would be to move a rear wheel to the front and put the spare in the back, that for sure will clear. Rear wheel width might hit the control arm depending on your tire width.

If you want to make a spare work, the solution is to use an IS-F spare and a 25mm spacer. But I wanted to stay true to the F-sport ethos and went with the F-sport solution. I do need to add some fix-a-flat repair kit, a plug repair kit and a cigarette lighter powered inflator.

^Yeah, some don't understand how truly HUGE those FRONT F-sport calipers are. I can see why the factory spare won't work.

Let us know if you end up sourcing those "missing" components to finalize your F-sport replacement kit.

Also have the RR racing wilwood BBK (front and rear). I have long wondered about this. Originally I've thought to just get a replacement full tire/wheel that will clear the fronts, if it clears the fronts, it will clear the rears, never came to mind I could use a wheel spacer.
