Hi - Just purchased a 2006 IS260 with 125k. One owner, great shape. Anyway...need to address a couple items. First is the calendar function in the unit. It seems that the date is all messed up and it thinks it is some year in the future. When it comes up the calendar view is blank and if I select a note from 2006 the other person had in there, it shows the dates on the calendar, but if I try to change the year it dies and goes back to the nav screen. Anyone know how to address this? I see no way to set the date on the unit.
I'm thinking it gets the date from the GPS satellites. I've never set mine, but it, and it is always accurate. Is your GPS working correctly, e.g., it should say GPS under the map scale indicator on the top left part of the screen?

Hi Sir. Good day to you. It same issued . How to fix it .
HI Guys. Please help how to fix the calendar view blank !
can not set today !
2013 Nav is set manually. The only reason I bother is so messages have the correct date/time stamp. To your point, GPS data definitely has time information. Notice it's GMT.
Off topic but diagnostic mode has some info and does a system health check talking to all the sub-systems (not shown). Then there is the recorder... Always curious if that could be used against us if *something crazy happened. Speeding, racing, crashing, etc...
