Odd Temperature reading climate control

Sitting in the drivers seat the cabin thermistor is right at your right knee. Pull the panel down and trace the wire to the harness and reseat the connector.
Also, do a search. IIRC this has happened before on here.

Well I replaced the thermistor and that was not the problem. Any other suggestions? Maybe unrelated but also have no clock which I assume should m be to left of the hazard switch. No backup camera.

At this point I would be looking at fuses in the c0ckpit but have no idea if there is a relationship to A/C, clock, and camera. Likely a small fuse like a 7 to 10Amp fuse.
Look for a fuse called Panel. Its 7.5A.

Still not working/ progress and question...
So I finally got around to taking the entire stereo assembly out. There are two small wires which look very suspect with no where to go. They were just hanging there. Coming from under the steering wheel which is by the dumb thermister. Anyone know where they plug in? No where to plug in behind the stereo.

You need to post the wire colors and connection / pin count. I.e. red wire/green dashed trace....
Did you ever pull all of the fuses and inspect them?
There could easily be options for variations of the same car. An example is heated glass for cold Climate like CAN...

Thanks for quick reply. Both are 2 pin white and green . Yes,fuses were fine. Still no clock and same temp issues. No blown fuses and reset didn't work. Traced the wire from thermister and it looks to connect with a large loom and go through the firewall to the engine. So tired of this issue.

I'm not sure if the plugs can be crossed. Though your hazards work, and not the clock.

Update on this mess in case someone has same problem some day. Temp still won't go below 91. I found the 2 hanging wires clip into little plugs holding the vent above the stereo in. Mine only had 1 plug in there not 2 and it didn't even fit. My air vent had a part # written on it so I'm thinking it is aftermarket or junkyard part and maybe not compatible? Wonder if just unplugging those 2 clips can cause that problem?

If it's 2009+ vent, you can modify the plug to fit -- I've done the same to my car for a 2009+ vent for a navigation system. This doesn't affect your temperature though, just the little LED lights that turns on.
