Default Wrecked my is350 :(

Wrecked my is350 its 2006 with only 87k .....i think it has frame damage in front ..any opinions ? Does my car look totaled...? It drives fine I was able to drive home (about 7 miles ) ..Im in Florida so theres that "no fault " insurance thing ...and I have collision coverage with a 500$ deductible .... do you think my repair Bill will exceed my cars value?

Both headlights are completely gone ....

Front bumper and lip is gone ....engine fans are gone ....might have frame damage ..

Your average internet person can't look at your car in depth, we can only see the surface stuff, which obviously you'd need a hood, fenders, headlights, bumper, etc. You'll have to wait for the insurance adjuster to come out and determine if there's any frame damage along with determining if they'll salvage it or not. Most of those parts are fairly cheap though.

True . I had a friend come out and he popped the hood ..nothing mechanical is damaged .(radiotor is fine , engine strong as ever , etc ) frame /unibody is untouched horns are damaged
bumper support is bent though (Front bumper cover is totaled obviously ) so is lip ... Headlights are totaled ( somehow they still work though LOL ) ..everything looks fine he said .and looks mainly cosmetic .( although further inspection is required to be sure )

The core support and structure up to it could be in question. You can run a tape measure diagonally from the alignment holes and see if its still square or if it pushed over....
Any bends or buckles could total it these days...

I'd just replace whatever is necessary for it to be legal and driveable again. New hood, headlights, bumper cover, and anything behind the bumper that HAVE TO to be replaced. Looks like the upper grill is without damage and MAYBE even the lower grill could be reused. Fog housings and that GFX lip look ok to reuse.

Sucks, but it happens to the best of us. Best of luck on your repairs!

Estimator came out today from geico..said ...it will take 9800 to fix and is considered a total loss .. FML......
they're offering me 10,392 $ for it (9500$ for the actual car ..and the rest is compensation for dealership and registration fees ...) I paid 9000k for it ........it's a 2006 , 87k miles , in also great condition...) should I ask for more ? 9500$ seems decent (I mean he said he was going to offer me 7500 ..but after taking a better look at and noticing how well cared for it was , he offered me 9500 ) but at the same time ...I can't find any 350s with that milage and condition for 9500$ ..they seem to run about 12-13k , how would I go about asking for more ? And can an adjuster lower the price

Find cars in your area with same options, nearly same mileage, same year and give them to the adjustor and see if he adjusts at all.

Ask Geico what they could do for you if you'd like to purchase it back (that is, if you even want to) and repair it to driveable. Curious what it would take to buy it back.

I would buy it back from the insurance and repair it at a cheaper shop. Probably wont be Lexus quality repair but livable for the age of the vehicle.

That damage is easily worth $10. That's not even looking at what engine components need replacement. Radiator ok? Anyway sorry to see this.

Damn. I feel for you. It will be hard to find another one with that mileage and in great condition with what the insurance guys will give you.
Best of luck and keep us posted with what you end up buying!

Take the money...$10.4k is great value for a 2006. Sucks that its worth more as a car than on the books.
