Default AWD aftermarket wheels

I'm sure this question has been asked before but i haven't been able to get an exact answer. I've got an 07 IS250 AWD and I wanted to get new wheels, I'm looking at 18sx 9 or 9.5 with a +35 offset, will this fit without any issues, will the wheels look flush with the fender and will i i damage the AWD system or anything once i get the bigger wheels? Thank you!

9 +35 will fit fine and should be flush at stock height. You won't damage the AWD system.

Do you know if 9.5 will do any damage?

Running wider wheels won’t hurt the AWD system. But if you want to run tires that actually fit that wheel, say 265-285, you’ll need to do some fender modification. I’m running 18x9.5 +30 on the rear of my RWD with a 275/35 and it rubs on dips. The front would rub horribly lol.

Hmm ok good to know thank you! So does a +30 offset pop out a little more than 35 or is it the other way around?

The lower the number the bigger poke to the outside.
Use this website to get an idea how offset works.

The lower the positive offset value as it reaches zero nets you a wheel that will "poke" out more and more. AND even more if you start reaching negative offset values; but we won't even need to talk about that. LOL!

Ok haha this is making sense now, so I finally trimmed down my choices and I'm looking at these wheels, I'm guessing they won't fit because of that+10 offset?

^Well, depends on your definition of the word "fit". Assuming the hub bore fits, they'd "fit" on the car; but would you want to run wheels that NOTICEABLY poke and run the risk of cutting tires down on your fenders. Looks at +30 offset instead.

I like those wheels BTW!
