2010 IS250 AWD mechanical issues
I have a 2010 IS 250 AWD, It started making a ticking noise so I took it to a (non-dealership) mechanic. They determined that the rear axle was the cause of the noise and we decided to have rear axles replaced. 2 days later (with not much driving) the passenger rear wheel locked up while at 70mph. I had it towed back the the mechanic that had worked on it, they can't seem to find the issue with it. Funny thing is, it's locked up while resting on own wheels, but when lifted up, all the wheels turn just fine. They did say that they think the synchronization of the AWD is off and that's what caused it. I'm trying to figure out if them replacing the axles could in any way cause this next problem. Or, if it really is just a huge coincidence.
