So here is the backstory,
I have a 2011 lexus is350 and I am currently experiencing a problem where if it's a nice hot day outside my passenger doors won't unlock when I unlock the car just the driver side unlocks. I have to manually unlock them from the inside. My dad told me that is a common problem for these cars and he contacted someone from the lexus dealer and they said its the Actuator. We currently ordered a new one that we will try on the passenger door to see if that actually fixes the problem.

So today we took off the door panel to get an idea of what we would have to do next week when the actuator comes. We put everything back together on the door panel and now with the door unlocked I cannot open the door from the outside. I just pull the door handle and nothing happens meanwhile the car is unlocked. I can open it from the inside still with no problem just the outside I cannot. When I try to open the door and I pull the handle I just hear like a clicking sound like if something is loose but we took the door panel off again and didn't find any problems.

Do you guys know why this is happening now? Did the actuator just go completely bad and now it wouldn't open the door? Also is the actuator actually the problem for the doors not unlocking when the inside of the car is hot? Thanks for the help
