Injen Cold Air Intake
I just bought a Injen short ram cold air intake from an IS250 onto my IS350. But the second as I installed it after driving it for a while the check engine light and track light came on my dash. I plugged in an ob2 reader and the code came out as P0441 (3/3) Evaporative Emission System Incorrect Purge Flow. Does anyone know what the issue can be? I was thinking it was like an airflow leak of some sort, but I'm not really sure. Any sort of help would be thankful, please. I cleared the codes after getting it and it came back on again.

Check the small breather hose. I had to buy a small screw type clamp to hold mine in place.

I can tell you coming from a 2018 Civic Si (sold in September), Injen intakes causes fuel trim issues. Practically everyone who installed them had their fuel trims all over the place, and codes being thrown. One member was running so lean he actually threw a rod, of course he was tuned and running E85, but his Injen intake was one of the contributing factors. You may have better luck on the IS, but I can tell you that in the Honda forums this intake caused issues on both tuned and stock configurations

Start the car, and disconnect the hose on the purge valve. The one under the intake pipe. Once the purge valve kicks on it should have suction on that port. If it doesn't it might be stuck closed.
Vice versa if you disconnect the power to it. The valve should be closed automatically. If it has suction its stuck open. I also forgot to mention make sure the gas cap has a good seal. Check the gas cap o-ring for cracks. It maybe not sealing well. Depending on the milage its been on the car.
Just some troubleshooting tips.

Haven't been on here for years but glad to know that I still can get good advice on here. Swap out the intake to stock for a smog and in the process I somehow disconnected the purge valve vacuum line that runs under the intake without knowing. The check engine light and VSC warning came on after with the stock intake so I changed it back to the short ram I had installed before the smog test. The check engine came back on so I cleaned the MAF sensor and nothing changed. Finally got it scanned and got code P0441 and P0455. Check the gas cap and made sure it was tighten correctly and warning light came back on. I finally decided to check the forum and from this thread with the pictures provided i verified that the purge valve line was the issue. This saved me $100 for a new OEM MAF i was about to order. I just wanted to post and give you guys props for helping another brother out.
