Default Awd wheel spacer help

My original wheels look terrible and I want to fit a set of mazda wheels I have with some fresh rubber. They are 215/45/17 on a 7" rim +55 offset. I think the IS250 front was a +45 offset but when I bolt the wheel on I'm getting rubbing on the dust shield and I'm not comfortable with the clearance to the brake rotor which only looks about 2-3mm.

I'm on the fence of getting those tires put on the lexus wheels or buying a set of wheel spacers. Would a 20mm spacer take me to (55-20 = 35mm) should give it enough clearance for the brake rotors?

I've never run wheel spacers before do I need to get a specific type for the bore size/hub centric?

Alternatively I also have another set of 17x9 +48 however they have 245/45/17 I fear that might be too wide and rub?

If your wheels are +55 then 20mm spacer will bring them to +35
