Default Help!!! No Power Steering, No ABS, No Traction Control

Hello CL!

I need some help. I recently purchased a 2012 is250 F sport. Been driving for about a week now with zero problems.

I woke up yesterday to find out that I have my ABS, Power Steering, and Traction control lights all on.

On top of that I have no power from my AC unit but my radio works.

I also cannot shift into gear.

I do have power at my radio and still have function of steering wheel controls. Also all my windows work.

Garage door open works but auto dimming mirror isn't working and also do not have GPS.

So what I've tried to resolve the issue.

1. Reset the ECU by removing battery connections.
2. Replaced all fuses under the hood and inside the cabin. Yes I replaced all fuses on the driver side engine bay, passenger engine bay, inside driver side, inside passenger side....
3. Hooked up the OBDII and there is literally no codes.
4. Took out the battery and took it to Advanced and had it tested. Works Fine.

I'm leaning towards it being the ECU found under the battery, but seems odd to just go out randomly.

Any thoughts & or suggestions would be much appreciated. Not sure what to test at this point.

I've attached a photo of what my cluster looks like...

Mystery solved. Corroded ground wire at the battery terminal. $240 at the stealership.

Glad you got this issue resolved!

Any pics of that corroded cable? Never have seen one, but have read quite a few stories about them corroding over time, like yours.

You and me both! I was pretty nervous bringing it in. This is my 5th lexus and none have ever done this before so I was scared it was going to be some major. Glad it was an easy fix.

Unfortunately I do not have a photo

Did they show you the cable? Was it the battery acid over time dropping down onto the cable that corroded it or was it one of the connections (like the connection to the chassis) that was corroded over time from the elements?

They did show me pictures.

It was the connection at the chassis. The cable at up top at the battery looked like it was in great condition when I was trying to troubleshoot everything.
