Question 2012 Lexus IS350 F Sport Wheel fit on a 2006 Lexus IS350

Will a 2012 IS350 F Sport steering wheel fit on a 2006 IS350?

The Part Number for the F Sport steering wheel is 45100-53421-C0. On websites that I have checked the fitment for this steering wheel is for 2010-2015. Not sure why this wouldn't fit a 2006 IS350 as the steering wheel looks exactly the same.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Here is a picture of the F Sport Steering Wheel

Others who know more on this issue can weigh in, but I've read a few posts on this forum that there are issues with the buttons working

Interesting. I wonder if you could swap the buttons from the 2006 Steering Wheel? The buttons look similar.

Not sure if it's the buttons or wiring. Hopefully someone who's done it can weigh in. It's a really nice steering wheel, hopefully it works out for you

Good to hear. Do you know if the steering wheel controls would work?

I do not know for sure, BUT I would also assume yes. There wasn't really any change from 08-13. All the functions remain the same on the steering wheel

yes it fits and the buttons too. I think you can swap the actual buttons and trim out cause back in the day, the 09 released the silver trim and people were doing that and using their old buttons which cost much more to replace.

Personally. I like the black trim better. Looks more complete & sleek to me.

Buttons swap fine. I had a set of the silver switches pulled from a wrecked 11 and they mounted/plugged in fine on my 08. Pretty sure the wheel itself is simply a plug and play thing, there's a reason the F wheels are somewhat sought after around here since they can be dropped into the 250/350s.
