Default 2006 Lexus IS 350 Head Unit - No power

The head unit does not have power. There is nothing on the display screen at all. I tried to push different buttons with no luck. The radio is working fine. During this hot weather in Atlanta I would like to use the AC which I can't since all the controls are part of the head unit.

When I checked various fuses, I found cigarette lighter fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse, but lighter does not stay in the socket. As soon as I insert the lighter it pops back out. I re-checked the fuse and it is fine. I do not care about the lighter but I would appreciate any help on the head unit.

You don't need to push the lighter all the way in. Check the fuse for the head unit?

I have no idea what do they call head unit in the manual. I don't know which fuse to check. I checked all the ones that does not require power, besides I am sure head unit probably has some other equipment on the same fuse. I do not have any problem with any other equipment except the cig. lighter and the head unit. If you have any idea what do they call and which fuse to check please let me know.

On the driver side, there is a fuse box by the OBDII connector for display and ac system. Have you check that?

There are 2 fuses there. One for TV 1 display and another for TV 2. They both are good. I suspect there is something to do with the cig lighter socket. I inserted usb adapter and then plugged in my iPhone. It does not work. I may have to take it apart. I am searching the instruction on youtube.
