Default Used BC racing coilovers

I found a set of used BC racing coilovers on market place for my 2007 is350. They have 17k miles on them. Would it be a good idea to buy them used or should I buy them new? I was wondering how long they last.

If the price if right, I guess you can give it a try especially if you'll be doing the installation yourself. If you are paying to have it installed, I'd just buy a new set.

My 2008 IS350 was purchased already wearingBC Racing XE20 Coilovers - 150K on the car - it's undercarriage is clean but those shocks show surface rust (which looks to complicate further adjustment) but zero sign of fatigue or failure. They are adjusted way low - and as such have limited travel. At normal speeds a bit of a ride, it qualifies as genuine character - but hardly mainstream taste. Smooth flat roads, it rocks - but ANY pavement irregularity and the body flex is revealed as the forces act without benefit of shock suppression - jarring the vehicle -I swear I can feel it TWIST and torque back into alignment : )

I was considering the same set lol. One of my cheap coilovers blew and I'm looking for new ones. I ended up ordering new ones yesterday cause they were just $300 more but there's a 4-6 week wait time though.
