Default Having trouble with my headlight and taillight install

Good morning fam I’m having trouble with my led headlight install. I have the spec- d headlights and I seem to be plug and and play but I see other wires On the headlamps and taillamps. My question is what are those wires for and do I necessarily have to to use the resistors? Do they play a part in the battery/alternator usage?

Please verify in the instructions but I'm pretty sure you do not need the resistors if you install an electronic flasher. On the rear, the extra wires are to light the inner brake lights on the trunk section but you don't have to use them either.

For testing, you can power them with a 9v battery and test them. Black being ground or "-" and red being "+".

The fronts, I have no idea.
