Default Bc coilovers with Or without swift springs and what rates

I’m looking at getting bc racing coilovers. I don’t know if I should upgrade to the swift springs or not and what spring rates to get. I’m just looking to close the wheel gap and not going to track my car. It is my Daily driver and I would like to keep the suspension smooth and not too firm. So I was just wondering if some guys could help out with whether to get the upgraded springs and what rates. Thanks

If you are not going to track the car the stock BC springs are great, comfortable but more stiff.
I had the same question when I got my BC coilovers and decided I could upgrade in the future but haven't felt the need at all.

Most manufacturers are backed up right now. Fortune is possibly out almost 2 months. RR racing has some budget friendly coils now @$1,500 and you may not have to wait as long. But I messaged Silvers North America this AM and they’re still out about two-three weeks which is good.

so just the normal springs are pretty good? Comfort wise how do they ride? Like over bumps and such. Is it still decently smooth?

I have no problems with it. It is stiffer and more bouncy on bumps compared to the silky smooth stock height. But it is perfectly fine and handles so much better.
I have been upgrading the rest of my suspension since, and have the F sport sway bars front and back as well as the chassis stiffening bar. I get my ISF steering ECU calibrated thursday and expect the handling to be significantly better When it is all in and set.

I had BCRs with stock springs. But I selected pillowball mounts and a 12k/8k setup (I believe default is 10k/8k). Over time, I had felt that I had wished I had gone with 14k/10k, only because I LOVE the twisties!

What brand pillowball did you get and how do you like it?
