Hi all,
I recently bought Lexus is 250 2011. With around 129000 miles. According to the old owner, he never changed the transmission fluid.
The transmission is working smoothly with no problems, but I wonder cand I change it? Or there will be problems if I changed it?

Additional transmission fluid change procedure information located here;
I had my transmission fluid changed at the dealer (IS350)

DIYs for drain and fills are harder on the sealed transmission because literally on an unsealed its sticking a tube down a hole. I had my dealer do a drain and fill and it was like $140 at a lexus dealership. It wasnt a standard menu item so they charged my time and materials, and it wasnt that pricey.
and yeah use OEM fluid, Toyota world standard, per the owner's manual suggestion for sure.

Patek14, thank you for posting fluid lab results.
Am Interested in what pricing was to have fluid sample diagnosed by Blackstone labs.
also, what is the name of Lexus dealership that did the drain and fill (I assume you didn't have the trans filter changed). did you purchase the necessary parts from dealer that did the drain / fill, or brought the parts to dealer;
00289-ATFWS - Toyota Genuine automatic trans fluid (how many quarts used for drain and fill?)
35168-60010 - Gasket, Transmission Pan (If applicable)
90301-31014 - O-Ring, Transmission Filter (if applicable)
35330-50020 - Filter, Transmission Oil (If applicable)
