So recently I ran over something while driving one day and the splash guard under my engine is pretty much destroyed. I am currently looking to buy a new one and replace it myself.
I've seen that aftermarket splash guard are cheaper ($50-$100) compared to OEM splash guards ($250). Do you guys think there would be any issues with buying an aftermarket splash guard instead of an OEM one?

Since its just a piece of plastic I think both will do the same thing. However, as with basically everything aftermarket, fitment could be the problem. The holes may or may not line up properly but realistically its not the end of the world since you could drill holes if the holes dont already line up. I personally would get the aftermarket part or I first would look around your area for a 2IS being parted out

Are you talking about the engine under cover "tray"? The OEM one comes with some cotton-like baffling materials on it and is of course guaranteed to fit; aftermarket will likely have some alignment issues. Actually. I'd personally try to local a local part car (FB marketplace/etc) to see if you can get your hands on a good, used OEM one.

My recent experience with aftermarket liners (fender lining on my Sienna), the fitment isn't great and plastic is usually thinner than OEM. It still does the job.
For a 1/4 the cost, worth a short though. You can always try to get used junkyard one but expect them to be full of holes other other peoples driving mistakes.
