For $1600, I would drive all the way to GA to buy it and have it transported. Even if it needed a complete engine rebuild. That would be my project car! Oh yeah, I'd visit every Waffle House in GA as an added bonus

This kind of reminds of the time when I got an email from our "CEO" asking me if I was busy and that he wanted to surprise all the employees and told me to buy 100 x $500 Google Play Store cards. The problem is, our CEO's office is pretty much right across from mine. Also I'm the Director of IT. So I emailed him back writing "hold on, let me ask him if it's OK". Scam. These kind of adverts are typical on Craigslist, they usually ask you to wire a deposit or something. A lot of the times if you pay close attention to the photos the geography is different (desert background and posting the car for sale on the east coast). If you want a good deal look on Facebook Marketplace.
