Default Resonator or muffler delete?

Is a muffler delete TOO LOUD?
Is a resonator delete TOO RASPY?

I was thinking of deleting either just the resonator or just the muffler... NOT BOTH.

Resonator delete would consist of installing a true dual H-PIPE

Muffler delete would include deleting 2nd cats

Which sounds better?

Dude, you really have to stop opening up so many threads on the same subject. From my count you have maybe 5 or 6 just on this question. It causes confusion. If you are not getting responses you want on the other threads you opened earlier, just bump it back up to the top. If you still are not getting responses you want, maybe the answer you want doesn't exist...

On the IS350 the muffler delete (only muffler delete, no cats deleted) makes the car too loud in my opinion, but it does sounds great when you're too the floor. Cruising speeds have a little bit of cabin drone. Haven't tried the resonator delete but from what I read it wouldn't be as loud as the muffler delete (still louder then stock), but a higher pitch sound.

I would recommend getting the F-Sport lower air intake or possibly drilling/cutting a hole in your factory lower box for a slightly louder, muscular sounds without any drone. Otherwise I'd recommend reading other forum post or comparing youtube videos..

Hope this helps.

Muffler deletes are unrefined noise pollution. Just my 2 cents. I’ll join all the threads later to eliminate the confusion.
