(HEADLIGHTS) Spec-D vs Spyder vs Ikon Motorsports
vlands cost too much in Canada ($800) so I am looking at cheaper options. Are Spyder spec-D and Ikon Motorsports headlights the exact same?

I'd stick with VipMoto headlights. They are probably all the same. VipMoto has some excellent customer service. I'm running their headlights, and fog lights. No issues as of yet just make sure to seal the headlights first.

and wired so the LED check mark is on full power with low beams (for more light)

These were "plug and play" - but my car (bought as an unclaimed police impound from a tow yard - you've heard of Rescue dogs - well I rescue IS350's ; ) was screwed up. It originally had HID's but when the ballasts failed a previous owner cut wires, and did a bizarre cluster***** homemade rig - where he got some LED bulbs to illuminate - but they were completely ineffectual to light the path in front of the vehicle during hours of darkness - all show (smae color as the fog lights which he did LED's in also - no go - UNSAFE ! Worse tho- the install was not plug and play as the original wires were whacked and hacked, stripped and twisted together and covered in black electrical tape. So - end result - lots of time with a test light to find appropriate wires and redo the whole thing. The company sells them intending you to unplug OEM and plug in the compatible harness sockets/plugs.
