I have a leak(s) in the Y pipe (the one in the middle with the cats) and I think I need a new one (had one patched a year or two ago, and now there are more). It's an 08 is250 AWD and can't seem to find a replacement for a reasonable price. I am assuming the AWD & RWD ones are different. Found RWD at rockauto in the $450 range, but nothing for AWD. Does anyone know of a source for a reasonable price (they seem to be in the $1500 range)? What's the difference between AWD & RWD? Don't have the cash for a $2k repair at the moment, but want to go on a trip in the next few weeks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Here's the difference it's just a bend. Maybe cheaper to get one made at a muffler shop.

I'm assuming that a decent exhaust shop can make one for you cheaper, the only problem is make sure they can make the mandrel bent part. Make sure the shop has a mandrel bender, which most shops should have

It's a common issue for the AWD mid-pipes to corrode since moisture collects in the heat shield. I had it happen to me last winter. I went to a local muffler shop and got both pipes fixed for about $150.
